Next Friday Comcast will be here to install us some cable internet and telephone service. The true test will be if they can manage to do the install without screwing it up. Their track record on that sucks from what I hear.

We need faster and more reliable internet here at the house since our DSL line has been going down almost hourly. It certainly doesn't beat the 4 day SpeedFactory outage that took out skywolf.net though!

Only those with services on chimera will be affected by the installation, which isn't very many people. The plan is for a secure tunnel of traffic from manticore to chimera once the installation is completed as Comcast does not allow servers to be run from residential lines. Once all is said and done you will not really notice that one server is "relaying" for the other.

On another note, I finally got word that I will get to graduate in December. This semester is a busy one for the moment, but I still would like to do some work on the site.

I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems.
